The Process
My approach is about looking, seeing. I take the time to accommodate with my clients, so that our experience becomes what it needs to be. A photoshoot can start by me quietly looking at the person in front of me through my camera. Whatever unfolds from there is to be witnessed and captured in photos.
The photographs I take become, in a sense, a vault of the client's life that he or she came into contact with during the shoot. A reminder of who we are, and seeing it in the form of a photograph gives it a dose of realness and importance.
The name LoveLens symbolizes the love in simply taking photos of something or someone. I find it to be a very loving act to give parts of oneself an experience of significance. And not only an experience, but a tangible souvenir to take back to one’s life.
